One evening while Chris was laying in bed with our kids they were praying. Jonathan was praying for his cousin Ajay. While he was praying he refered to Ajay as a "she." Julia corrected him and said that Ajay wasn't a girl. Jonathan proceeded to say " Okay, I'll try again" and he continued his prayer for his cousin using "he" instead of "she." Very cute!

I laughed so hard when this happened...It still brings a tear to my eye.
this morning I tried to explain "speaking in tongues" to Julia on the way to school.
in the rear view mirror, I saw her freshly partial blow dried dew darth vader helmut hair pie...and her cute little lips say inquisitively, "speakin' in tons?" "tongues?" "what's that?"
I said it's a heavenly language...it's like "God talk"..she said... "yeah but we can't do it, til we're older." and I said, "no you can ask God to fill you with the Holy Spirit now."
and again, her cute little mouth said "...oh..." while having no clue what I meant.
